Polaroid has announced a follow-up to their mildly successful Kids Tablet 2. The upgraded tablet is featuring the same 7-inch form of its predecessor, but it’s picking up a slightly improved processor, 1 GB of RAM, and Android 4.2. On top of that, it’s preloaded with over 70 apps and e-books for children, boasting offerings from Cartoon Network, Disney, and Marvel. For a child-friendly tablet, that’s a ton of content available right out of the box.
The tab will run $149 at Toys R Us, which is slightly more than similar child tablets, but when you factor in all of the additional freebies, it’s a solid deal. Anyone planning on picking one of these up as a Christmas present?

Additionally, the Kids Tablet 2 features new and updated apps that help children express their creative sides.
