HP confirmed on Tuesday that a new Android-powered “PC” called the SlateBook x2 will go on sale in August. Formally known as SlateBook 10-h010nr x2 PC, it packs an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor (1.8GHz), a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 pixel display, 16GB internal storage, and 2GB RAM. Powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the convertible device allows for easy docking of a physical keyboard much like Asus Transformer series. Pricing is listed at $479 for the SlateBook X2.
