New details from a Twitter source seem to confirm recent reports that Google has tapped Asus as the hardware maker for the refreshed Nexus 10 tablet. Once expected to come from Samsung, we learned in August that Asus was in production with the successor.
The screen you see above is said to come from PC World UK’s internal inventory system and shows a £349.99 price point. Converted to US dollars we come up with approximately $560, or a pretty penny. We should hope for at least 32GB internal storage and the same 2560-by-1600 high-resolution display.
Google is rumored to introduce the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kitkat details in mid-October so we might also look for the Nexus 10 to take the stage as well.
