If you are a buyer looking to avoid contracts and subsidies, opting instead for prepaid service plans, you may be interested in Straight Talk’s latest move to offer service via the AT&T 4G LTE network. Previously it was only available on the 4G HSPA+ network.
According to Straight Talk, their plans start as low as $45 per month for unlimited talk, text, and data access. A word of caution though – just because Straight Talk provides access to the AT&T network does not mean you can take full advantage of it. In the past Straight Talk has been sued for throttling users at relatively low limits and they seem to have learned their lesson as they make a point to let buyers know they reserve the right to throttle and speeds can vary.
