The first few images of HTC’s alleged successor to the HTC One have made their way online. Known by its code name of ‘M8′ the phone should pick up right where the current model leaves off, but with general improvements across the board.
So what do the leaked photos tell us? Not a ton, but just enough to keep the buzz going for a little bit. Notice that new hole cutout at the top of the rear panel? Guess what will likely go there? Yep, a fingerprint scanner, much like the HTC One Max.
Specifications thus far include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, and a screen in the vicinity of 5-inches to 5.2-inches. Likely powered by Android 4.3 or 4.4, the smartphone should be among the first to run HTC Sense 6 UI.
