We're always ready for news about a new, inexpensive Android tablet. Today we found out about the Ematic eGlide XL Pro 2, a 10" tablet [thankfully] running the latest Android v4.0. With a price of $219.99 it's sure to catch the eyes of some bargain shoppers this summer. While it may not be the most powerful, (what do you expect for $220?) it still boasts the features required to make it a viable choice for the consumer. A front facing camera with microphone and hdmi output are welcomed additions to the device.

It's a big deal for a company to achieve Editor's Choice status in the Google Play Store and cloud.tv is super excited about it. They gave us a sneak peak of the latest cool stuff they are doing to HD Widgets and what they plan to include in the v3.0 update planned for the first week of June. With over 100k downloads, a lot of people are going to be able to take advantage of the latest and greatest "HD Widgets."

Verizon announces Droid Incredible 4G LTE arrives in “coming weeks”

Verizon started the week off with a bang today, announcing the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will join the roster in the coming weeks. Without giving us an official launch date or price, we know all the other details for the Android 4.0 smartphone. Specifications are exactly what we expected, thanks to a string of recent leaks and rumors.

Hardware includes the following:

4-inch super LCD qHD display
8 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, BSI, f/2.2 and 28 mm lens
Front-facing camera for video chatting with friends and family
1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
Mobile Hotspot capable to share 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices
Support for up to 32 GB microSD memory card
1,700 mAh lithium ion removable battery

We'll be hopping on a plane later today and plan to get some pictures and initial impressions of the device so be sure to follow along this week! Pricing is yet to be determined however the last we saw, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE had an unreasonably high $299 sticker with two-year agreement. Here's hoping for a dip in price. C'mon, at least shave $50 off, Verizon.
