Despite denying having anything to do with a Nexus 5 back in May, LG is once again rumored to be working on the next-generation of Nexus smartphone. According to MyDrivers, a 5.2-inch smartphone is on the docket with other higher-end hardware.
Details are reported to include a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, a 10-megapixel rear camera, and 3,000mAh battery. Presumably running Android 4.3 (or later), the phone is also said to include 16GB/32GB flavors with multi-mode carrier support.
One particularly interesting note is that the rear button form factor of the LG G2 will not be in place for the so-called Nexus 5. According to the source, LG has moved the buttons back to the side for this model.
Maybe it’s time to dust off those Megalodon rumors from way back in March?
