Earlier this month Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 started rolling out to HTC One X+ users in Taiwan. About a week later a similar update arrived to HTC One X owners in select countries in Europe. Now it's the United Kingdom's turn to get in on the action.
UK-based users of both the One X and One X+ are reporting that the new update has started hitting their devices today, bringing with it several new features. Not only are there Android 4.2.2 features like DayDream, but the update also includes BlinkFeed, an updated camera app, a new Quick Settings toggle and more.
Wishing your device was a little less of a battery hog? The new update supposedly makes your device a little more battery efficient and even includes the ability to see your handset's exact battery percentage in the status bar.
If you’ve yet to receive the update for your One X or One X+, don't worry – it might take a few days to roll out to everyone. In the meantime, you can always head to Settings > About Phone > System Update and mash that button repeatedly until Sense 5 finally graces you with its presence. Or you can be patient and wait – the choice is yours.
Have you managed to get your hands on the new update? If so, what do you think so far?
