The new Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi versions) can now be purchased directly from the Google Play Store in Canada – the device is already available in the region from a variety of retailers.
Pricing for the Nexus 7 (2013) starts at $229 for the 16GB version and $269 for the 32GB version – even though they match their U.S. correspondents, these prices are in Canadian dollars.
In addition to the Google Play store, the new tablet is also available from Best Buy, Staples and Future Shop in the region, with these retailers selling the device for the same price as Google.
According to the image provided by MobileSyrup (see above), the Nexus 7 (2013) ships in 1-2 business days, so you should get by the end of the week in case you order now. Just like in the U.S., the LTE model is not available at this time in Canada.
Sign-up pages for other markets where the new Nexus 7 will be launched are already available here.
