Sony is among the first handset makers to come out and shed light on Android 4.3 details for its product line. A blog post from today tells us that we can expect the latest version of Jelly Bean to come to Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP and Xperia Z Ultra.
Sony also hopes to bring some devices up from 4.1 to 4.3 and skip the 4.2 stuff altogether. We are advised to look for more details and information down the road; @SonyMobileNews is the best spot to start.
Incidentally, the Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z will start receiving 4.2 from early August before they see the 4.3 build.
Sony is not messing around when it comes to 4.3 updates; the developers were able to get it working on the Tablet Z only hours after it was made available for download.
