Tinder is the hottest new social dating service. Since launching last October for iOS, they claim to have generated 75 million matches, and 50 engagements. Yet, they still don’t have an app for the most popular mobile operating system on the market. It seems they have already developed an Android app, but they are just waiting for enough people to want it before they release it to the public.
After 1 million people pledge that they want Tinder on Android through posting on their Twitter or Facebook profile, the app will be released. Currently, a little over a week in, progress sits at 45.1% complete. It’s an interesting move by a company who has yet to monetize the popular app.
