Well, that didn’t take long. Mere days after Sony announced their flagship Z1 rumors have started flying (albeit from anonymous sources) that the Z1 successor ‘Z2′ is now in the works. Let us refer to it by it’s purported code name Avatar, shall we?
The rumored specs include a 5.2 inch display with a 500 PPI pixel density. That would beat the current PPI champ, the HTC One (which sites at 468). Other specs include a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a whopping 3200 mAh battery. On the video side, a 20.7-megapixel camera will reside on the back, and the device will be capable of recording 4K video. Of course, Android 4.4 “KitKat” will be on board.
The logical suggestion is that this beast would be unveiled at CES 2014, but again, these are just rumors at this point.
