The rumored cheaper version of Motorola’s Moto X, the DVX, looks as if it will be offered with multiple back cover color options. According to pictures appearing on China’s version of Twitter, Weibo, the DVX has at least four backplate colors in the works. For those in emerging markets and potential pre-paid customers, your backplate color choices could include black, white, green, and pink.
A revised Permissive Change filing with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has also given us a few more photos of the device itself, including the front and back. Looking nearly identical to the Moto X, it appears the DVX may be a tad smaller version of the flagship model. Given the 3G-only connectivity other puzzle pieces, we’re inclined to believe the $200 non-subsidized price may be on the mark.
Considering the FCC details and string of leaks are starting to flow regularly, we might expect to see an announcement in the coming weeks or months.
