Earlier this month we reported that AT&T would start shipping the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on October 1st. As it turns out, this date only applies to those who pre-order the handset. For everyone else, the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will arrive on October 4th, in-stores and online. While October 4th isn't as early as T-Mobile customers will see the device, it's still a week earlier than Verizon, and the same day as Sprint.
As expected, the handset will set customers back $299 with a two-year contract, or $35 per month with AT&T Next. As for the Galaxy Gear, the new smartwatch will cost $299 outright.
For those that like the idea of super-sized smartphones, you won't find much else that comes close to what the Note 3 offers. As a brief recap, the Note 3 is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 here in the states, alongside 3GB of RAM. Other specs include 32 or 64GB storage, microSD, a 13MP back cam, 2MP front cam, a 3,200 mAh battery and Android 4.3 with TouchWiz.
