Look for Samsung to introduce a new, premium flagship smartphone in 2014, says industry sources. According to ETNews, Samsung will add a Galaxy F to the roster of key device releases like the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note family.
Reportedly, the Galaxy F will trump all other smartphones in the Samsung brand and will feature components such as an octa-core processor, 16-megapixel camera with OIS, and a metal casing.
There’s an indication that the phone could run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean however we’re inclined to believe Samsung will push for the most current platform available. With months to go before this one reportedly arrives we should hope for 4.4 KitKat at the least.
At what cost?
With most of Samsung’s phones fetching $500-$700 without a contract we have to wonder just how high they’re willing to go with the Galaxy F line. More importantly, how much are customers willing to pay for a “premium” Android?
