AT&T on Monday announced the upcoming pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. Priced at $199.99 with a two-year service agreement, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-powered camera-centric smartphone will also be available for $25 per month with the AT&T Next program.
"Customers need more and more from their smartphones," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president – Devices, AT&T. "With powerful, best-in-class optical zoom, in addition to easy access to day-to-day functions like email, social media and more, we're able to offer customers the qualities they want and need all in one device with the Galaxy S 4 zoom."
AT&T is including the Galaxy S4 Zoom into its tablet promotion which sees the Galaxy Tab 3 (7-inch) thrown in for free just so long as the buyer adds it to the shared data plan. What’s more, Ma Bell is offering a $100 promotional gift card for trading in an old smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom skews more into camera than any Android to date and includes a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor with a 10x optical zoom, Xenon flash, and optical image stabilization. Additionally, the handset offers a 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and the standard fare of connectivities.
