The hardware picture around the HTC One Mini becomes a bit clearer this morning as we learn of the main specifications. Falling in line with previous rumors, German-based blog AndroidNext.de gives us an idea as to what lies ahead for the smaller take on the flagship handset.
Unconfirmed details include:
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5
- 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 display
- Snapdragon 400 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 4MP Ultrapixel camera
- 1.6MP front-facing camera
- Beats Audio
- Front-facing speakers/BoomSound
It’s probably no coincidence that the One Mini sounds remarkably akin to an HTC One S successor. The size and general specs make it a step up from last year’s mid-ranger; HTC recently announced that Android 4.2 will not come in an official capacity.
The cat jumped out of the bag for this phone long ago so it’s only a matter of waiting for HTC to make a formal introduction. We’ve recently heard that a July debut is expected but that’s only a rumor ya know.
