Floating apps are nothing new to the Android world— but more and more crafty individuals out there are working tirelessly to not only bring cool and innovative features, but also make them more seamless and simple to use, such as the new Floating Touch app. Based off of the popular StandOut libraries, XDA user dasi1241 and Boat Browsing Design developed Floating Touch to allow users to access the most frequent settings toggles. Like other floating apps, Floating Touch basically acts as a large widget/button over a running application and shows a pie grid, complete with various settings toggles and quick actions— all at the press of a button. While the app is simple to use, it’s completely open to customization and includes the ability to set navigation buttons— though you’ll need root access in order to achieve that feature.
The app is available for all Android 2.3+ users, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t grab it today. Go on… you know you want to.
