The upcoming Moto X smartphone will feature gesture controls for the camera, according to new images obtained by the Android Police team. Reportedly, users will be able to swipe from side to side to pull up settings, access the gallery, and other features. We’ve previously learned that the camera will load with a quick double wrist twist; this is also confirmed in the leak.

We’re curious as to whether the camera features are exclusive to the Motorola phone or if they might be part of a more standard Android experience.
Motorola will unveil the Moto X on August 1 in New York and it is expected that the phone will go on sale in the short weeks following the announcement. Pricing is rumored to be $299 (16GB) and $349 (32GB) for the phone.
