Google might rent space at Best Buy for Google Glass Aug 22nd 2013, 12:53, by Robert Nazarian Back in May, we heard that Google might be opening their own stores specifically for Google Glass. Of course, opening a bunch of new stores costs a lot of money, so instead, Google might attempt to partner with Best Buy since they already have a large presence all over the country. According to Robert Scoble, he heard a rumor that Google is planning on renting about 6,000 square feet inside every Best Buy Store. Yes, it’s just a rumor, and we are probably a year away from seeing Google Glass available, but this makes a lot of sense. Google has placed Google reps in Best Buys for the Chrome Pixel so this seems like the next logical step.
