The LG G2, one of the hottest phones of this year, will be launching in Canada come this fall. It’s nothing short of an impressive device, and LG is doing everything they can to give this handset maximum exposure.
That said, the LG G2 will be available through Bell, Rogers, WIND Mobile, SaskTel, TELUS, and Videotron. It’ll also be available through national retailers, such as Future Shop and Best Buy. Actual prices and launch dates aren’t available at this time though.
As a reminder, here are some of the crazy specs the LG G2 is sporting:
- Processor: quad-core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
- Display: 5.2-inch Full HD IPS (1080 x 1920 pixels / 423 ppi)
- Memory: 32GB
- RAM: 2GB LPDDR3 800MHz
- Camera: Rear 13.0MP with OIS / Front 2.1MP
- Battery: 3,000mAh
- Operating System: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- Size: 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm
- Colors: Black / White
It’s too bad Verizon’s version of the device will be the only model to support wireless charging. While it doesn’t make a huge difference on the device itself, it’s still a pretty cool selling point. Not to mention that wireless charging puts less wear and tear on the microUSB port as well.
Are you excited for the LG G2? Do you plan on picking one up come launch day?
