Netflix update fixes "sleep of death" issue on 4.3 devices Aug 8th 2013, 04:51, by Aditya Thawardas Netflix for Android has been having an issue where devices running Android 4.3 become unresponsive if they fall asleep while streaming Netflix to Chromecast, nicknamed the “sleep of death.” Netflix has pushed out an update for the app that supposedly fixes the issues. Version 2.4.1 of the app’s changelog mentions that it “fixes and optimization for devices running Android 4.3.” If you want the updated, fixed version, you can download it through the link after the break.
