While the Galaxy Note 3 and its gear companion hogged the spotlight at IFA 2013, Samsung also unveiled a device that many tablet users have anticipated for a while now – a new and improved Galaxy Note 10.1 edition.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (yes, that's the official name) is a big upgrade over the original Note 10.1 in almost every way. Starting with the display, the new Note 10.1's panel is an impressive 2560 x 1600 pixels, which puts it at the front of its class. Powering all those pixels is a mighty Snapdragon 800 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU, along with 3GB of RAM.
The Note 10.1 comes with pretty much all the software features that you get on the Galaxy Note 3 and shares the same design esthetic. The textured back does wonders for usability and we were very impressed with it in our hands-on time.
But I'll let my colleague Joshua Vergara walk you through the most interesting aspects of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in this first look video below.
What tablet are you buying this holiday season? Is the new Galaxy Note 10.1 on your shopping list?
