Twitter has announced that a tablet-optimized version of its Android app is now available. The catch? You must have a Samsung tablet in order to take advantage of the social media application. Starting today with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1-2014 Edition, the Twitter app features a number of great touches.
The landscape view fills your screen with Tweets, conversations, Trends, accounts to follow and more. With a single tap, Tweets expand on the right side to show photos, videos and article previews. Dive deeper with another tap to see photos, play videos or read links from the web in fullscreen mode.
Not to worry, though, the rest of the Android tablet space will get its mitts on the new Twitter app by the end of the year.
