Samsung officially announced the release of the Samsung Galaxy Trend 3, a follow-up to the Galaxy Trend II that was released in April. The new smartphone gets some upgrades, going from a 4-inch display to a 4.3-inch display running at 800×480 resolution and Android has been bumped from version 4.1 to 4.2. In addition to the support for dual SIM cards, the device comes with a 1.2 GHz processor, an 1800 mAh battery, and microSD card support. It is only available in white.
At present, the device is only available in China for three different carriers as well as an unlocked version. However, it would not be a surprise to see it available in other locations like India.
