Republic Wireless has become the latest carrier to offer support for the Moto X smartphone. Unlike with other wireless providers, this particular model is unlocked and contract-free…and very affordable.
It's finally here… Moto X with four new plans to choose from and the ability to switch plans up to twice per month…Now you can get your new Moto X with Republic's Hybrid Calling technology, with two plans that cost $10/mo or less…still with no contract, no hidden fees and no surprises.
Priced at $299, the Moto X is the same exact handset you’ll find elsewhere. The chief difference comes in the network that backs the device. Employing Wi-Fi networks first, it falls back on Sprint’s 3G or 4G LTE when needed. Indeed, this is for data, SMS, emails, and even voice calls! Thanks to a custom ROM tucked inside the phone, however, the Moto X works only with Republic Wireless’s plans.
Customers can pair the Moto X with a number of Republic Wireless plans which range from as low as $5 per month up to $40 per month.
- $5/month - Unlimited talk, text, and data on Wi-Fi only
- $10/month - Unlimited talk and text on Sprint cellular, unlimited data on Wi-Fi only
- $25/month - Unlimited talk, text, and data on Wi-Fi and Sprint 3G
- $40/month - Unlimited talk, text, and data on Wi-Fi and Sprint 4G LTE (where applicable)
