On October 27th Samsung will kick off the company’s first ever developer conference in San Francisco. The three-day event might be based in the United States, but that doesn’t mean Samsung is forgetting the rest of the world. For those that can't make it to San Fran, the European Developer Day conference is certainly a worthy alternative.
The European Developer Day will take place at the London Film Museum on November 18th and will basically cover the same topics as the U.S. based event, albeit in somewhat condensed form.
Specifically, Samsung will focus on their SDKs for mobile, in-app purchases and smart TVs. The company will also talk about native and web APIs for Tizen, as well as opportunities related to Samsung services such as Wallet and Samsung Hub.
For better or worse, Samsung seems determined to separate itself from being just "another Android manufacturer", and these new developer conferences could certainly help with this effort.
If you are interested in attending, the Samsung event is now open for pre-registration. The event is free, but seating is limited, so you better act quickly if you want to get in!
