T-Mo is giving you a free ceramic black One S by HTC with new contracts done online, after a $149.99 web discount and a $50 mail in rebate. While we don’t have an exact date concerning when this deal will be done, we do know that it will only be for a limited time.

The HTC One S comes with:

  • 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display
  • HSPA+ 42Mbps

AT&T expects 4G LTE coverage for 300 million by end of 2014

Posted: 07 Nov 2012 07:01 AM PST

AT&T today revealed that it expects to cover 300 million U.S. residents with 4G LTE  service by the end of 2014.  As some may recall, the carrier previously indicated that they hoped for 250 million by the end of next year.  To fuel this growth, they will be investing $8 billion (Project Velocity) over the next three years to expand and enhance its wireless networks. Verizon, by contrast, already has 400 markets covered with 4G LTE data and appears to be well ahead of AT&T.

AT&T plans to expand its 4G LTE network to cover 300 million people in the United States by year-end 2014, up from its current plans to deploy 4G LTE to about 250 million people by year-end 2013. In AT&T’s 22-state wireline service area, the company expects its 4G LTE network will cover 99 percent of all customer locations.
