Our friends over at Cruzerlite are throwing one heck of a sweet deal today and we’re only too please to help participate. For one day only (Memorial Day), you can score a 30% savings on any of their Android accessories through Amazon.

Indeed, if you own an HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, or any other Android device that needs some protection, you’d be hard pressed to find a better savings.  All you need to do is head to Cruzerlite’s listings on Amazon.com and select the item you want. When you get to the checkout, input the promo code ANDGUY20. Yes, we know it seems like it would be 20%, but it’s 30% off.  Call it a “game time decision” to make things even more sweet.

There are dozens of models and a number of color and design options to choose from. Here’s three we recommend to get started!

What will we see at the Samsung Premiere 2013?

Posted: 27 May 2013 09:17 AM PDT

The Samsung Premiere 2013 website outright tells us to expect news about the Galaxy S 4 line, the ATIV S series, the Galaxy Win and the NX300 smart camera.

What we here and AndroidGuys are really excited about is the Galaxy S 4 news. From the looks of it, we’re going to be seeing the Galaxy S4′s tall, small and athletic cousins.

The Galaxy S 4 Mega, Mini and Active.

Thanks to Arnold for emailing us the tip with some possible renders of the new S 4 devices. Be sure you translate the page if you’re interested in the text. Check it out at Mobileaks’ dutch page here

Now, we realize that looking at these renders it’s hard to believe that there is an inch of difference in the display of the second two devices. Even so, it’s not a huge deal as Sammy hasn’t hinted at a 6 inch display for any of it’s devices. The Mega is rumored to be releasing in 5.8″ and 6.3″ flavors.

While the Mega is truly going to be the “next big thing” the golden children of this show will definitely be the S 4 Mini and Active.

The Active answering the call for everyone who’s ever said “I’m just too hard on my phones to spend that much” and the S 4 Mini appealing to anyone who wants all the power and latest features but do not like the feel of large devices.

Which of these devices are you looking forward to? Is anyone looking forward to replacing their Nexus 7 with a Galaxy Mega? Let us know in the comments below!

Leaks – you just gotta love ‘em. Over at Samsung Apps, there was a quick little snippit that revealed the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. The leaked information has since been cleaned out, but not before screenshots became available:

  • 1 GB (3G), 2 GB (LTE) RAM
  • 32 GB Memory
  • Android 4.2
  • 8 megapixel camera
  • 2,100 mAh battery

It’s also suspected that the mini will have TouchWiz UX over Android 4.2.2, and that it will launch around the summer in black and white.

Inside source confirms Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 slated to have Intel Atom CPU

Posted: 27 May 2013 02:15 AM PDT

Intel has spent a long time investing in their mobile processors, and it looks like all that work is about to pay for them, big time. A source that is very close to the matter has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will have an Intel Atom processor chip based off of the Clover Trail code name.

We mentioned last week that this rumor was already in circulation, and that some test results had cropped up, and that the GT-P5200 and GT-P5210 were showing up with Atom specced CPUs.

Leaked test results of the Atom Chip in the Tab 3 show that the aforementioned tablet has Android 4.2.2, a 1280×800 display, and that the CPU is able to run anywhere from 800MHz to 1.6GHz, which is well within established ranges for the dual-core Atom Z2520 CPU from Intel.

It should be noted here that Samsung has chosen this chipset over all other ARM-based processors, including their own Exynos chip family. Intel is known to be in competition to get their hardware into Samsung’s devices, but it looks like Samsung already has their minds set.

Intel is slated to give out more information to the public in the upcoming Computex trade show in Taiwan. Hopefully, we can expect to get a bit more information at that time.
