HTC: Android 4.3 update for AT&T HTC One push set for next week, Sprint HTC EVO LTE update to land by year-end
Oct 5th 2013, 14:45, by Nick Gray

HTC’s financials may not be doing too well these days, but at least HTC is leading the smartphone industry in releasing Android 4.3 updates for its phones. The Android 4.3 update with the latest version of Sense 5 has been released to unlocked and Developer Edition HTC One in the US, carrier branded HTC Ones in Canada and the Sprint HTC One. Next up is AT&T. Jason Mackenzie of HTC has announced that the Android 4.3 update has been certified for the AT&T HTC One and will be pushed out to handsets next week.

The T-Mobile HTC One is expected to receive the update by the middle of October while the Verizon HTC One will is scheduled to be updated by the end of the month.

Jason Mackenzie also had some good news for Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G LTE owners. The EVO LTE will also be updated to Android 4.3 with the latest version of Sense 5 by the end of the year. We still have not heard anything about the next AT&T HTC One X Android update, but we’re guessing it will drop around the same time as the EVO’s.

Good news for One users on AT&T. 4.3 update passed AT&T certification today. Will begin to push to your phones early next week. @HTCUSA
