Verizon gets its 4G LTE version of Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Verizon has become the latest wireless provider (Sprint, AT&T) to announce its version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. A press release from today advises that the 10.1-inch tablet is available for $499 where can be paired with a month-month data plan. Should you have one of the carrier’s shared data plans you can also add it for as low as $10 per month. You can order the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 today with shipments expected to begin on November 26.

T-Mobile ‘Samsung Holiday Sale’ starts Black Friday

T-Mobile’s holiday sales are getting ready to kick off on Friday, November 23 and are expected to run through December 20. Like the stuff that the carrier did last week, these promotions revolve around Samsung 4G devices.  There are a number of deals to choose from, some phone, and some tablet and all involve mail-in rebates and instant savings.�

AT&T announces Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals

AT&T has officially announced its Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, listing all their wireless and U-Verse promotions for the coming few days. While we’d like to have seen more cutting-edge hardware or newer models, the deals aren’t all that bad. We’ve pulled out the Android-related stuff and pasted it below, however the full list of savings can be found on their website.

Avengers Initiative launches for select Android devices

What do you do this weekend after you belly up to the table for a Hulk-sized meal? Normally, you drift off into a turkey coma. This year, however, you take on the role of the Hulk as you track down bad guys like Wendigo, Abomination, The Kronan, and The Skrulls.  That’s right, you download Avengers Initiative on your smartphone or tablet and you save the universe. Then, you slide into a deep sleep.

The game, which has just gone live in the Google Play Store, works on a select number of Android devices. Should you have a Tegra-powered phone or tablet then you enjoy additional goodies such as improved character textures, realistic clothing, life-like environments, and Iso-8 effects.
