| APPTEASERS: 15 Android games and apps worth exploring (Feb 21) Posted: 21 Feb 2013 09:59 AM PST We get a lot of requests from developer seeking a review or some form of publicity for their game or app. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even a fraction of the emails, tweets, or messages that come across our desk. The result is that readers and followers miss out on discovering new and wonderful titles. To help alleviate the problem we have created an ongoing series of posts called APPTEASERS. APPTEASERS is a collection of apps and games that are new to Android, recently updated, discounted, etc. Whatever the case, we think they’re worth exploring and are willing to bet that many of you would enjoy a few of them. We understand that we won’t get every single app that crosses our path but we hope to filter things a bit and pass them along to you, dear reader. An entry-level ZTE smartphone, the Sprint Force LTE, is due at Sprint on March 1, according to Engadget. Among the details are a 4-inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Sprint Force LTE will run $49.99 with a two-year service agreement. | ZTE first to offer Tegra 4 powered smartphone Posted: 21 Feb 2013 06:18 AM PST NVIDIA and ZTE last night announced that the Chinese handset maker would be first to offer a smartphone employing the new quad-core processor. Due in the first half of the year, the superphone will feature the Tegra 4 processor and its “72 custom NVIDIA GeForce cores and quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU”. What’s more, the unnamed model will include Icera i500 LTE support, enabling 4G LTE connectivity. No indication, yet, as to whether the device will make its way across the pond to the United States.
