Google and Starbucks have partnered on a new initiative which will see faster, free WiFi connections at company owned Starbucks shops around the country. Expected to take up to 18 months to roll out to all 7,000 locations, it will ultimately provide speeds up to 10x the current connection. For those of you who live in a Google Fiber market, you’ll see upwards of 100x the current speeds.

You’ll know if your local Starbucks chain has started offering the faster WiFi connection when you are able to connect to the SSID of "Google Starbucks" .
