An LG handset whose model number is similar to the purported Nexus 5 spotted with the FCC has also been seen at the Bluetooth SIG.

The LG-D821 is identified as an LG LTE mobile phone and has been listed on September 5 with the Bluetooth SIG – the FCC filing was also discovered yesterday.

According to the information that's available so far, the LG-D820 may be the next Nexus smartphone, which means the LG-D821 must also be a Nexus version.

The device is yet to be confirmed by Google, but the company did publish an Android 4.4. KitKat video in which a Nexus handset that looked nothing like any of the existing Nexus smartphones was seen – Google then removed the video.

Furthermore, this isn't the first time we hear that LG may be the maker of the Nexus 5, and considering that the LG Nexus 4 was far from being the best kept secret in the tech world, we wouldn't be surprised to see more Nexus 5 leaks in the coming months.

While the Bluetooth SIG doesn't reveal any details about the LG-D821, other than LTE and Bluetooth support, so far we learned that the LG-D820 will have a 4.96-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, LTE support for AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, NFC, wireless charging support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Android 4.4 KitKat. However, nothing is official just yet.

Images of the phone aren't exactly available (excluding the above components), although fan-made renders have already surfaced.
