Last week a trio of devices with model numbers XT1032, XT1033, and XT1035, surfaced in an FCC filing. Sources that spotted the filing began searching the Internet for clues as to which models these might be. They uncovered some pages on UK retailer sites that consistently show these model numbers listed for different versions of the Motorola DVX. Previous rumors indicated the Motorola DVX was a low cost version of the Moto X intended for emerging markets and possibly U.S. prepaid carriers.

The UK retail sites list a couple different versions of the Motorola DVX. An 8GB model shows up with prices ranging from $214 to $243 USD while a 16GB version is listed at $234 USD. Several of these retail sites indicate the device will be in stock on September 11th.

Since UK prices tend to be slightly higher than U.S. prices, it is reasonable to reach the conclusion that a U.S. version of the devices may sell for around $200. To reach that price point, it appears Motorola has removed the LTE capabilities and detuned HSPA+ to max out at 21 Mbps. Other specs for the device are still shrouded in mystery.
