You might think you're looking at a Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the picture, but its actually a concept design for the upcoming Motorola Atrix 3. A welcomed concept from where I sit, we're so accustomed to the large brick design from Moto, its nice to see a slimmer rending of the future device.Rumored to have a quad-core Tegra 3 processor running Android v4.0, this would be a beast if released now. Its suggested we will also see a 4.3" Hi-Def display with 720p resolution. In order to handle all that processing power, the fix is to include a larger battery with 3,300mAh capacity. That's right around twice as big for most current models on the shelves today.
It appears they wan't to lift the 8mp ceiling on today's smartphone cameras, and go with a 10mp pitcure taker. Another ceiling in today's devices seems to be 1GB of RAM, and they are looking to push that further by installing 2GB of RAM in this concept handset.
Many thanks to the guys at PocketNow for the photos and information

HTC today confirmed that they will be providing Android 4.0 updates to four Verizon models, the.  Although they stopped short of announcing when the respective handsets get their just desserts, we cannot imagine it going into the third quarter.  I mean, who would consider such a thing? Looking north to Canada, HTC also listed the Raider (Rogers, Bell) as another North American model seeing 4.0 in the coming months.

Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona kicks off in less than two weeks. As you would expect, there is a bunch of discussion surrounding new devices that may or may not make their first appearance. We're not sure if any of these new handsets will be introduced in the next couple weeks, but three new Samsung devices have product ID's and are ready for speculation.
Below, we're looking at the Wifi Certifications for the SGH-T999, SPH-L710 and the SGH-I535. One conclusion to be made regarding the SGH-T999 could be the previously mentioned Galaxy S Blaze 4G. A beast on the spec sheet, could this be the latest big and bad Android to grace the shelves at T-Mobile? There's a chance we could find out in a couple weeks at the Mobile World Congress.

We'll do our best to keep you informed of the latest news as things pick up towards the opening of MWC 2012.
Thanks to our wonderful friends @Androinica for this information.

We're getting down to the wire here as Mobile World Congress approaches so it makes sense to get a few final leaks for various smartphones.  Such is the case here as we learn a few finer details for the HTC One X.  Formerly known as the Edge and/or Endeavor, this model is said to be designed with a Super LCD display as opposed to Super AMOLED.  While it could look as nice as the HTC Rezound's display, the larger 4.7-inch screen is not going to be quite as dense.
Additionally we have learned that the One X will come with 32GB internal storage and forgo a microSD expansion port.  If so, this would be one of the only HTC Android smartphones to not offer expandable memory.
We should also anticipate that the handset comes with on-screen soft buttons in the same manner as the Galaxy Nexus. Considering just how large the screen size is this makes sense to us.
There's mention of a 5-pogo-pin setup for a speaker dock, which ties in nicely with rumors of a Beats Speaker system or HTC music streaming service.  Rounding out the details, it is being reported that the HTC phone will come with an 1800mAh battery, some what higher capacity than standard models.
