HTC One coming to Verizon this summer

Posted: 03 Jun 2013 10:03 AM PDT

It may be a tad late; but, for those of you who’ve been waiting to see if Verizon would carry the real HTC One (not just the precursor Droid DNA), we have some great news.

Announced on the official Verizon Wireless news Twitter account, the HTC One, complete with 4G LTE, will be coming to Verizon this summer. Details on the Verizon variant of the HTC One, like when it will ship or if there will be any major changes made, are scarce at the moment. Still, this is great news for anyone on Verizon who has been dying to get their hands on HTC’s latest flagship device.

The HTC One will finally bring Verizon’s device lineup back up to par with the rest of big carriers in the US, giving customers a choice of any of the hottest Android phones available right now, including the Note II and Galaxy S4. Congratulations, Verizon customers. Now who’s buying one?

Twitter’s 6-second video sharing app weighs in at 18MB and will work on Android devices running 4.0 or higher. From what we can gather, Vine for Android comes with most of the same features iOS users have been enjoying, though Android users are the first to be treated to a new zoom feature.
