Late last week, Motorola introduced Motorola Skip, which is a small clip that you can clip to your belt or shirt that will unlock your Moto X with a single tap. This is especially important for those of you that use a security lock screen such as a PIN or pattern, which I highly recommend. It costs only $20, and they include three Skip dots, which is the same thing but in sticker form to leave in different areas of your house.
In order to use Skip or Skip dots, you have to pair your phone to each Skip and Skip dot. This ensures that somebody else with another Skip or Skip dot won’t be able to unlock your Moto X. Motorola just released the Skip Setup app to assist you in this pairing process. Hit the break for download links, and remember, all custom Moto X orders will receive a Motorola Skip (and three Skip dots) for free for a limited time.
