Itching to get your hands on Android 4.4 KitKat right now? While the wait is still on, you can at least make your existing version of Android look similar to what we’ve seen with the recent KitKat image leaks.

A KitKat makeover is as easy as downloading the new "Google Experience Pack" kit from XDA developer Alessio94x. The special zip file includes four mock-up icons and a wallpaper that is very close to what we've seen in the leaked KitKat images. As you can see in the image above, the icons include an App Drawer icon, Phone app, Google Now and Settings icon.

If you have a tablet, Alessio94x also has 1920×1080 wallpaper that might come in handy.

So how do you install the icons and wallpaper once downloaded? There's actually quite a few ways to get the job done. For the wallpaper, image2wallpaper does the trick easy enough. Applying the icons will require either a custom launcher or an app like Desktop Visualizer.

To check out the GEP kit for yourself, you'll want to head on over to XDA Developer's forum. Any other good KitKat-inspired wallpapers or icon packs that you're aware of? Let us know about them in the comments!
