You probably know Android as the mobile operating system that this site is named after. However, there’s another small company, also named Android, that has been manufacturing watches for ages. With a name like that, it would be foolish for them not to go into the growing smartwatch market, which is exactly what they will be doing. Based on a promotional video, the Android made Android smartwatch, which will be unveiled next month, will make and take phone calls, play your music, and record a voice memo among other features.
In addition, the watch will have pedometer capabilities, and the option of either a digital or analog face. The watch will come in many colors, including orange, black, red, blue and white. Pricing is still to be determined.
