Leak shows U.S. Cellular to introduce shared data plans
Aug 11th 2013, 00:56, by Dustin Karnes

According to sources, U.S. Cellular is slated to introduce shared data plans in the USA. A new leak of a small roadplan outline is showing that the cellular provider is going to be lining up with the like of AT&T and Verizon in their plans by allowing multiple users to share out of a single pool of data for a single charge. Keep in mind, however, that shared data plans – while potentially helpful – have the capacity to actually make things more expensive for wireless customers. Other providers have a tendency to jack up prices for less data.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the talk of unlimited talk and text plans with these shared data packages are floating around as well. Also, it’s important to keep an eye on this if you’re already on U.S. Cellular, as most companies will allow you to grandfather in your current plan, even after they change their pricing structure, so take a look at what could save you money when the time comes.
