A new report reveals that Verizon may get a special HTC One color version in the near future, a shade of blue whose marketing name isn't available yet.
The news coms from Phone Arena that has it from a source that Verizon's inventory system now includes a new SKU for the HTC One: HTC6500LVWBLU. A description for it is also available: "HTC One in Blue."
It is not yet clear when the HTC One will be launched, but the same source apparently said that the handset is definitely going to be released in August. A recent report claimed the device will hit Verizon on August 15, although that's yet to be confirmed.
Considering that Sprint will reportedly get a red HTC One, it's not completely unexpected to see other carriers request different colors for the handset. Not to mention that since Verizon is launching the device much later than its competitors, it probably needs something unique that’s appealing enough to convince some buyers to get the HTC One from Big Red instead of anyone else.

We would expect Verizon to also sell the black and white versions of the handset. While the SKU for the blue HTC One has been leaked, a price for the handset isn't available at this time.
