Google makes Quickoffice available for free to everyone
Sep 19th 2013, 20:14, by Scott Webster

Good Guy Google announced on Thursday that it is making Quickoffice free to anyone and everyone. As part of Google’s portfolio for the last year, it has grown and matured new features. But, seeing that not everyone is using Google Drive for documents and files, Google recently decided to make Quickoffice mobile apps free for business customers. Today, however, it is available to all.

You can get the free Quickoffice app on Google Play and in the App Store. Simply sign in with your Google Account to start editing Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint files on your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet. Quickoffice is integrated with Google Drive so you can safely and easily store and access your files across devices.

Those of you who sign into your Google Account from within Quickoffice before September 26 will earn an extra 10GB of Drive storage at no cost. Said storage will be available for a two year period.
