Sony PlayStation App to be available in November with PS4 release Sep 20th 2013, 14:20, by Jeff Causey Sony is planning to release their new PlayStation 4 this November and they have announced the new PlayStation App will be available for iOS and Android devices at the same time. The PlayStation App will be a companion to the PS4 and will enable gamers to use their tablets or smartphones as controllers for some titles. Even if a title does not allow that, the app has other features that may be useful for gamers, like the ability to serve as a second screen displaying extra information during gameplay. Based on the information provided, it appears users will also be able to order games and trigger their download to their PS4.
