Android 4.4 rumored to require nano-SIM card, starting with Nexus 5
Sep 30th 2013, 18:22, by Dustin Karnes

If you’re keeping up on all the latest and greatest on the Nexus 5, then check this out. According to Ukranian carrier, “Life : )“, the Nexus 5 should be coming with a nano SIM slot, much like what we’re seeing in current iPhones.

On the disclaimer page of the carrier, it’s stated that they will hook you up with a nano SIM for your “iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, Nexus 5 or Android 4.4 smartphone”. The strange thing about this being, of course, the fact that it states for any android 4.4 device.

This could be big news for users who utilize a nano SIM on their carrier, should it prove to be accurate. While a bit of a shot in the dark, the speculation of nano SIM capabilities seems to be a logical conclusion from this page.

What do you think? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
