Just yesterday Pandora began rolling out an update that introduces a new tablet-optimized UI designed to better take advantage of a tablet’s extra screen real estate. Interestingly enough, the Google Play screenshots for the update also seemed to include the "Chromecast" icon — though the feature didn’t actually show up in the updated app.

Now it's official, Pandora has flipped the switch on Chromecast streaming! For those that already downloaded the app yesterday, you don't need to do anything other than perhaps force close the app or restart your tablet. Once you get back into the app, the Chromecast icon should than appear.

If you have yet to grab the app, you'll want to head over to Google Play. While most Android fans already have a Chromecast, if you don't, we highly recommend picking one up! For more details on what to expect with the Chromecast, be sure to check out our review as well.

Existing Chromecast users: are you excited about the addition of Pandora streaming? What other apps are you still hoping to see official support for?
