T-Mobile may introduce data passport plan with international coverage
Oct 9th 2013, 20:05, by Scott Webster

T-Mobile is slated to usher in the third phase of its Uncarrier initiative this evening and there is plenty of buzz as to what might be announced. We’ve previously heard of refurbished devices in stores, free calls to Mexico, and/or removing deposits for well-qualified buyers. The latest, which comes only hours ahead of the unveiling, seems to make the most sense: T-Mobile could offer data plans with international roaming.

The images above come courtesy of a Shakira fansite and foretell at least one of tonight’s new details. Sure, it could be a fake, however, the colors and photo of the international pop star feel legit.  Plus, it’s the same picture used in the official invite, albeit pulled back a bit.

We don’t much in the way of details however the phrasing of “passport” and global coverage definitely line up with the invitation. Remember how T-Mobile said not to “miss it for the world“?  Data coverage in more than 100 countries doesn’t get much more worldly.
