Moto G teaser

Here comes the Moto G. After Motorola's website team spilled the beans on the low-cost device last week, the company is now officially teasing the Moto G for a November 13 debut.

For now, the teaser page Moto-g.com doesn’t reveal much aside the aforementioned date, but the tiny planet theme and the fact that the November 13 date is displayed in multiple languages suggest that the Moto G will enjoy an international release, just like rumors predicted. Users can sign up for an online live announcement, so some kind of livestream launch event is possible.

The Moto G leaked last week in a promo card from UK retailer Phones4U showing a 4.5-inch HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 5MP camera, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. However, the Moto G's most alluring feature will probably be its low cost – if the Phones4U leak is accurate, the device will sell for just £135 ($215) unlocked, turning it into a great proposition for anyone interested in a decent budget phone.

It is not clear yet if the Moto G, also known as the DVX, will sell in North America, though we can't rule it out. A $200 unlocked mid-ranger would send shockwaves throughout the market, which seems in line with Motorola's aspirations to disrupt the industry through aggressive pricing.
