Motorola to introduce Moto G on November 13
Nov 4th 2013, 13:44, by Scott Webster

Motorola will introduce its next smartphone, the Moto G, on November 13. An email invitation sent out this morning tells us to save the date, adding in the hashtag of #MotoG at the end. Nothing else is listed or teased in the invite; the image looks like the same loading screen we get from the Moto X.

Thus far, rumors suggest the Moto G will be a lesser-powered version of the Moto X experience. Presumably running at least Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the phone is also expected to feature customization in the form of removable colored back panels.

Recently leaked specifications call for a 4.5-inch 720p display, quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 8GB internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Of particular note, the processor is different than what @evleaks recently tweeted (1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro).

According to GSM Arena, the Moto G could fetch around £134.95 (roughly $215 US) without a contract. Indeed, this is very inexpensive for a brand new device aimed at the average smartphone user. Along these lines, @evleaks also suggested the Moto G will be free with a contract in the United States.
