Yesterday we got a chance to see the HTC One Max (T6) up close for the first time. If that wasn’t enough for you, we have another image, this time giving us a better idea of its size. Sitting on top of the Max is the Motorola XT882, which has a 4-inch display. The Max’s 5.9-inch display makes the Moto device look like a little toy doesn’t it?
You will also notice what appears to be a switch on the upper left side of the Max. Word on the street is that this is a release for the back cover. Could the Max have a removable battery?
Even with an amazing phone like the HTC One, things aren’t headed in the right direction for HTC. Will the Max finally change things for them? Probably not since it’s a niche item, but with a marketing campaign that includes the likes of Robert Downey Jr, it should help mainstream consumers take notice to the “HTC” name.

New photo of HTC’s first phablet effort, the speculated One Max, has leaked out, this time showing a strange contraption on the left side that is said to be a battery cover release switch.
Does that mean we’ll have removable battery and eventually a
microSD slot? This remains to be seen, but HTC is obviously gearing up for a big marketing push, as it enlisted none other than the best paid Hollywood actor at the moment, Robert Downey Jr, for a
publicity stunt video, titled “Big things ahead”.
The new pics show the HTC One Max chillaxing with a
Motorola XT882 on top, and this one looks to be one 4-incher completely lost amidst the enormous screen diagonal of what will be HTC’s largest phone to date.
